PEM Nut Inserts & Self-Clinching Fasteners.
Threaded inserts pressed permanently into sheet metal panels, enclosures, and brackets. No welding required. Clean, strong, repeatable.
Threaded Holes Without Welding.
Self-clinching nuts and studs press permanently into sheet metal, creating strong, reusable threads in thin material where tapped holes would not hold. No welding, no heat, and the back side stays flush.
- How It Works
The fastener is pressed into a punched or drilled hole. The squeezing force displaces the surrounding metal into a groove on the fastener, locking it against rotation and pushout. The result is a permanent threaded feature flush with the sheet.
- Enclosure and Panel Work
Electrical enclosures, equipment panels, and chassis that need repeatable threaded attachment points. The insert sits flush and does not interfere with mating surfaces.
- Combined With Plasma and Bending
Panels cut on the plasma table and bent on the press brake can receive PEM inserts in the same shop. No need to send parts out for hardware installation.
